I sort of agree, but also don't.
Seeing KoaBD is rare anyway. The only possible ways to get it are from PvE and alliance faction, since the PvP titles take an ungodly amount of play time to max out (nobody has reached max in either gladiator, champion, or hero yet.)
This means KoaBD is usually going to be character based. If I was going to get an emote for a great accomplishment, I would like to have it on all characters.

On the other hand, it is a big deal (no pun intended) to get those titles. You deserve something. I just have no idea what.

/notsigned, mainly because I'm sick of all the fame spammers. Having the title is enough and if people don't notice it then who cares.

Here's a suggestion, how about just changing the color of the title text.

If we start adding new emotes, we gotta get an extra dance for classes. Hammertime on Ranger : D

But yea, Doing the KoaBD Title would seem to at least warrent a Small Emote. Something that gets your attention.

I agree that the title itself is the reward.
HOWEVER...
I wish these PvP elitist idiots would stop denouncing the Protector and Cartography titles.
It takes a LOT more time and effort to get even one of these titles than it does to get your Bambi.
NOT everybody does Cartographer when they start a new campaign. And as has been stated, it can't be "Cheated".
NOT everybody bothers with Protector; some of the bonuses can be DAMN hard. Dunes of Despair, Eternal Grove and Gyala Hatchery spring to mind, especially if you're trying to do them with nothing but heroes and henchies.

If they're so bloody easy, post a screenshot of you doing the Dunes bonus with no humans in your team.
No?
Didn't think so.

/not signed.... I do not like to award anything in PvE, because it encourages players to play a really boring part of the game..... I think that giving you this PvE title track, KoaBD, is extremely retarted and If I saw you with that title, I would not think any more highly of you, I would actually think less of you because you play way to much PvE

Why can't I do it with humans, GW is a team based game.... If you choose to do it by urself, more power to you, but why not play the game it was really ment to be played....

I think its a good idea personally. I don't have KoaBD, but I might try if there was an emote, who knows?

Plus, I don't believe emotes should be only for PvP'ers, some might say it motavates PvP'ers to get higher in Fame....but so do the titles.

1 emote for PvP, 1 emote for PvE. It doesn't sound bad at all, I feel both sides should be equal. Anyone who says emotes are only for PvP is just closing their eyes, and saying that theres no way a PvE title could EVER have an emote.

I believe KoaBD and PKM deserve this, it takes alot of dedication, and should be rewarded. Of course, 99% of people do titles fairly, the others exploit glitches and/or pay their way for titles.

Almost all titles can be farmed, exploited or bought, including those in PvP, so don't use that excuse.

On the flipside, its pretty easy to get emotes for both PvP and PvE, so again, equal.

PvE and PvP should be equal in this area, and it would give people more of a motavation to actually get the KoaBD title track.

For the record I did Dunes of Despair Bonus with my warrior and Hencies (No there weren't any hero's then ). And yes Carto and Protector are still not easily Attainable.

Come on Anet. If your thinking about making international titles, and breaking up the skill hunter title. You should consider making emotes for PVE too

I don't see a single good reason not to have a PvE emote, but I'm sure a lot of the resistance to it is from PvP people clinging to their e-penises. If they get an emote for something as trivial as r3, KoaBD should definitely have one, too.

I actually have this title; I can tell you that it takes much more time to get it then rank 3. Because I do not have a high rank like 9+ I do not know how long it takes but I can imagine it is up there with them. I would also like to see the people know me tier of this title to be account linked. I could not imagine getting that title on multiple characters. The titles that I maxed out are the 3 protectors the drunkard and the wisdom one. i think the wisdom one is even harder these days because of the chest update. I think the easiest way to get this title is to get all three protectors. the other 2 could be from either drunkard, by using the zoning trick or if u were lucky enough to do the afk farming on light bringer points. As for the second tier I think its gonna take a few more chapter for me to get. I think I could max out the lucky track in 2 more events but know telling how long that will take and I would like to max out the treasure hunter and skill hunter one if a-net ever lets us.

emotes were made so people that can't read can ask the person to emote in their face instead of reading title.

Oh and btw, KOBD might be hard, but trust me, even just r1 champion takes much more work and theres no emote for that.

I'm kinda on the wall about this....

I've got lots of respect for those that earn any title....and they all have there easy way and there hard way to achieve.
If there were to be any emotes for pve KOBD would be the title track for it.

All things being equal....

Emotes really are of little value to me, the title itself tells of your accomplishment, however to put things in balance there could be some pve emotes tied to titles.

Either that or take out the emotes for pvp all together as they nolonger serve an use, if you want a R9 pvp player, just look at his title, no need for any emote imho.

I'd rather keep the emotes for accountwide titles.

Giving emotes for branching titles like GvG and hero battles would be overkill. Fame titles are fine, 'cause fame is something everyone's likely to have a bit of going though PvP. Similarly, everyone playing PvE is likely to max a title or two if they play through the entire chapter, so I'd say it's an appropriate title to have an emote associated with.
